"A little bit garment, a little bit necklace.. And most importantly; a piece of wearable art. Having an all black wardrobe, I am always experimenting with exciting accessories. I'm always looking for new and interesting ways to apply my art, keeping in mind few materials with an eco-concious thought. Something I could wear myself, and something I also could see people with different styles and palettes wearing.
The collars are partly made from clothes that had been thrown away, worn out or that were in some way never to be worn again - recycled textiles in other words. This, and the fact that the collars are hand sewn, gives each one their own individual look.
They are printed as environmentally friendly as possible, with water-based ink and with no additional chemicals used in the process.
With a limited run, I have signed and numbered each one by hand embroidery."
